Navy’s torpedoes Penn from the foul line
The Quakers fell to 0-5 with last night’s loss at Navy. The Midshipmen made 22 of 27 free throws, and according to this little item in the Daily News, they scored 15 of their last 24 points from the line. The Quakers made 10 3-pointers — with Zack Rosen connecting on 5 of 7 — but they shot just 9 of 17 from the line (52.9 percent) and were outrebounded, 40-32.
Penn (0-5) next plays Albany at the P on Tuesday night.
