Yarou’s Hep B poses no risk to others when playing
Now that ‘Nova freshman Mouphtaou Yarou has been diagnosed with Hepatitis B, there are naturally some questions. It’s not clear, first of all, how he got it. And it’s also demonstrably clear that, once he is again cleared to play, that he’ll pose no risk to others on the court. Terry Toohey of the Delaware County Daily Times took an in-depth look at the situation here, and KYW Newsradio interviewed a doctor from the Hepatitis B Foundation to discuss the disease in more general terms here.
