Temple easily handles Ball State, 66-46
The Owls had little trouble last night at the Liacouras, and from the looks of things, this was a fundamentally sound victory: 23 assists on 27 field goals and only eight turnovers, two of which came well after the outcome was no longer in doubt, according to the Daily News. Lavoy Allen had 16 points, nine rebounds and a career-high seven assists. Ryan Brooks had 17 points and seven assists. And Juan Fernandez had 13 points and five assists. Defensively, the Owls forced 17 turnovers, and Ball State 38.6 percent.
In other words, ho and hum.
Temple (3-1) plays Virginia Tech at the P on Friday night in the Philly Hoop Classic.
