Drexel still can’t shoot, loses to Rutgers at buzzer
About all you need to know about Drexel’s 58-56 loss to Rutgers up in Piscataway, N.J., last night is this: The Dragons shot just 26.6 percent, and the Scarlet Knights’ Gregory Echenique dropped in a game-winning finger-roll with just 1.9 seconds left to win it. Not good. “What do you want me to say?” Dragons coach Bruiser Flint said, according to the Daily News. “What are we going to do?” Good questions, both. Rutgers made just 16 of 35 free throws. Yeah. It was that kind of game.
Drexel (0-3) plays Penn at the P on Tuesday night.
