In what’s being reported as a dispute over playing time, Villanova junior center Casiem Drummond has asked for — and received permission to — seek a transfer. Details from the university can be read here.

Drummond is averaging 19 minutes per game this season. He had a reported foot injury against Niagara and then sat out Tuesday’s win over Monmouth because of the old “minor disciplinary issue.” He then didn’t play Friday or Saturday against Towson or Rhode Island, either.
